Luffy is the main character of the best-selling shonen manga One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda. Currently, it is the best-selling manga in the world with over 490 million copies in circulation. Its longevity makes character Luffy one of the most essential of all mangas. One Piece was first published on July 22, 1997 and since then, the craze around the manga has been growing with the release of each chapter or episode.

1. He ate the devil fruit Gum Gum fruit
